Archietecture Preview 2

SURROUNDINGS
I think this photo does a really good job of showing surroundings because it obviously features the building with rule of thirds but then uses its surroundings to create a leading line straight to the building. I also think the contrast of blues does a really good job of framing the building with the clouds.

ANGLES AND SHAPES
I think this photo uses a nice worms eye angle to highlight the twisting of the building and the crossing of the clouds creates a nice shape in the clouds. I think the angle and light of this photo also creates lots of lit up rectangles in the windows as well as triangles with the twisty rods.
PATTERNThis photo has lots of repeating rods which create both nice horizontal and diagonal line patterns. On the side of the building we also have repeating rectangles and in the front repeating color patterns which are more obvious from this angle.

LIGHT
I think this photo uses light to highlight the angles and twisting of the building. The light also creates a dark blue sky and orange glow on the building which creates complementary colors. The shadows at the bottom also emphasize this.

 DETAILS
With this close up angle we can see the details of the white rods and you can really see the pure white color which against the light blue sky really pops. This photo also uses its angle to create a 90 angle that's bisected by this middle line and then these horizontal lines connect everything.
