Fashion photo manipulation

1. The manipulations made her neck longer and skinnier eyes lower and bigger.

2. The changes made to the models body were the clearing of her skin, bigger eyes, smaller nose, longer and skinnier shoulders and a skinnier chest. They flattened her stomach and made her legs longer while slimming her thighs. They made her neck skinnier and longer and her feet are smaller.

3. The changes made to the model were curving her body like giving her curves, thinning her arms and legs, the shrunk her head and shoulders and added volume to her hair.

4. It is not ethical to change a person's appearance because it's not what they actually look like and they're fine the way they are. They shouldn't change someone's appearance because they think it's more visually pleasing.

5. Yes there are ways this could be more wrong.

6. I think it's okay to alter background as well as crop and change lighting to enhance the photo but nothing that alters  the human being. Altering exposure or like putting someone on the beach that wasn't there isn't really bad.

7. Fashion photography is more commercial and deals with trying to sell things or sell products to consumers while photojournalism is telling stories and has to be the tree while fashion photography has to appeal to a wide audienc Fashion photography is more commercial and deals with trying to sell things or sell products to consumers while photojournalism is telling stories and has to be the the truth while fashion photography has to appeal to The consumer so they think lying will make it more appealing.

8. Photojournalism is closer to reality Because it usually tells the truth. because they're telling a true story which is reality it's more ethical. Fashion photography involves more manipulation of the truth which makes it less ethical.

9. I think you showed us these videos to show us what is being done in the real world and how it's not always right.

10. There aren't videos of guys because there's a double standard in society between men and women and it's the same in fashion.

Change the angle

Camera settings unavailable because of shooting on the phone.
I shot this image at this angle to capture her profile and make it visible what she was looking at. The window light lit up her face and created a reflection in the computer screen. The angle made the background very busy with all the papers in the back.  With lots of colors in the background it's Busy. This photo is somewhere in the middle for me it's not a very good but it's not the worst.
I shot this photo from this angle to really focus on what the computer is  showing. it makes everything look small and. There are nice geometric shapes in the computer screen. The angle made the background less busy but shows weird towel things in the window. This angle allows you to see the bright sunny day light coming through the window onto the window sil. This is my least favorite image it's boring and really not a good picture.
This Picture is my favorite I think it gives a nice perspective and provides information to. it's again not very good but I don't think it's worse then the second one. I think this background is the worst it's got way too much stuff and way too many colors and the blinds are crooked and the light makes them yellow which is gross. The angle made the light come through the blinds weird and made it look yellow and brown and gross. I shot it from this angle to get McKenna's perspective on what she was doing in photojournalism :-).
I shot this picture from this angle to get a really good above shot of the shoes and make it have good simple color composition. The laces create white lines which are dynamic and the grass makes the one colored background  more interesting. The little yellow flower adds a pop of color. The angle created even light and a really pretty photo because it was distributed evenly. The angle created a really simple background which makes the photo nice. This is my middle photo I don't think it's that bad but it's not the best.
This is my least favorite photo the background is busy and the light makes weird shadows. I shot from this angle to give a Sideview see you could see the whole shoe but I think the light makes her Jean, looks weir shop from this angle to give a Sideview see you could see the whole shoe but I think the light makes her Jean cuff look werid. The available light was bright and made the photo look nice but just created weird lines and it's not very asthenic. The angle makes the background really busy and I don't like it.

This is my favorite photo of the three I think the background is nice because although it's flat it's well lit and it has really nice textures. I shot from this angle because you can see everything and it has nice and rule of thirds and lines.
The light made the photo have no shadows and be very clean and simple.
this is my favorite photo because the background is so simple and the leaves add a nice touch. I shot from this angle to get in to bug you and make the subject look small.  The angle created a split affect with the light making half shadow covered and the rest very bright. The angle made a simple background.
this photo is my least favorite. The angle makes the background really busy and all the polls in the back are not straight. shot from this angle to try and include more of her surroundings. The angle made the light Cut through her and create a half-and-half. it creates a lot of weird shadows on her.
this photo is in the middle for me. Shop from this angle see you could see her face and see her body position. also to include the picnic tables and her background. this angle made the light really bright on her and make her entire back around dark as well as put my tiny phone shadow on the ground. lastly this angle made the background really dark and boring and the picnic tables  having shadows completely cover them makes them look really sad.

Publication 5.2 🤗 GIRLS LACROSSE VS AUSTIN HIGH

BADDEST CHICK ON THE PLANET-- Freshman goalie Rylie Jones or as the coach refers to her " baddest chick on the planet" warms up with Anderson seniors. The Knitros is a joint team between Anderson and McCallum students who currently rant second in their district. "Being a goalie is a good experience because I get to learn to be greater than my obstacles and not be scared of tough challenges." Said Jones. The Knitros play Georgetown high in a non- district game next friday, April 1st.

HALF TIME TALK-- Knitros Coach Zach Matthews talks to the team during half time during their District victory against Austin High. After a rough start getting the field lined that resulted in a late starting game the Knitros came out on top winning 7-2. "We didnt get to warm up very much all we did was pass and catch with our limited space but we still played hard and it was fun." Said Freshman Midfielder Gracie Smith (37). Their next game is Friday April 1st against Georgetown High School and their next district game is Tuesday April 5th vs Stony Point High School.
WARM UP -- Freshman attacker Camille Selis passes during the Knitros two hour warm up period. The lining of the field took an extra long time so in order to not forfeit to Austin High they needed to play 80% of the game before sunset. "Lacrosse is a really fun way to calm down after school and I love the way the team works together during the games." Said Selis. Knitros won the game 7-2 and  are currently second in the the district.

Publication 5.1-- A Day In McCallum Dance ONE

MARTHA INSPIRED-- Students in Ms. Adamez 6th period Dance 1/ Aerobic Dance class perform their Martha Graham inspired daily assignment. The students just began their modern unit and are creating pieces to be featured in their end of year informal concert. Martha Graham was one of founders of modern dance and is the second artist to be studied in the unit. Dance 1 is a course that offers PE or fine arts credit and features a large curriculum of Social/ballroom, Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop and Modern.

LANGUAGE OF DANCE-- Freshman Dance 1 students Mckenna Carpenter, Camille Selis, Isabella Pell, Meaisa McDonold and Mary Flores gather round their paper to observe dance concepts use in the video they observed. Students then fill out a chart that has effort, emotion, shape, space, actions and dancer relationships. For actions they use language of dance concepts and symbols to represent movements. "Dance is a great way to start the day because it's fun and relaxing, plus ms. Adamez is a really great teacher!!" Said Selis. Dance 1 is a great fun class to get your PE credit out of the way!!

MOVE TO THE MUSIC-- Freshman Measia McDonold practices her groups Martha Graham modern dance routine. Poking out in the background is dance teacher Ms.Adamez and her son who joined the class today. "He had a fever this morning but doesn't anymore, I'm sure you've all been there" Said Ms Adamez. The class really enjoyed having a cute kid as a special guest.
